She went 16:18.73 to rout the field by more than 15 seconds. The only one who stayed even remotely close was trailing partner <strong>Hailey Williams,<\/strong> who pulled into a silver medal. Lynn nearly had two on the podium, with <strong>Laura Dekoninck<\/strong> tying for second and <strong>Luna Mertins<\/strong> in third. Disqualified in the 50 free, <strong>Lamar Taylor<\/strong> atoned in the 100 free. He was third in prelims before blasting a 42.64 at night to edge teammate <strong>Jack Armstrong<\/strong> by .04 seconds. They were separated by .06 at the 50-meter wall, and Armstrong came back .02 quicker.<\/p>\n<p>Nova Southeastern\u2019s <strong>Marcel Snitko<\/strong> finished third in 43.19. <strong>Matthew Bosch<\/strong> of Grand Valley was fourth in 43.24 (albeit slower than B final winner <strong>Nico Jacinto<\/strong> of Lewis). Naskret had won the 100 back the night before, and she had teammates finish seventh and eighth to briefly get them within 50.5 points of Nova Southeastern.<\/p>\n<p>The silver medal went to <strong>Alexandra Waller<\/strong> of Drury, who had been the top seed out of prelims. She was a full second faster in 1:56.61, but it wasn\u2019t enough to keep up with Naskret. This one came with a record-setting flourish, going 1:40.34 to take down the national record.<\/p>\n<p>Tampa was the big winner, though, with <strong>Santiago Corredor<\/strong> and <strong>Parker Knollman<\/strong> on the podium. Corredor finished second in 1:41.59. Knollman, the top seed out of prelims, was marginally quicker at night but slipped to third in 1:41.99.
