His time was a second slower than his seed time and 11 seconds off his NCAA record time set two years ago at the NCAA Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore<strong> Zalan Sarkany<\/strong> took the third seed in 3:40.79, while sophomore <strong>Cale Martter<\/strong> took the fourth spot in 3:40.94.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Matheson<\/strong> snagged the eighth seed in 3:43.31, giving the Sun Devils of Stanford swimmers.<\/p>\n<p>The Cardinal&#8217;s <strong>Rafael Gu<\/strong> (44.99), <strong>Aaron Sequeira<\/strong> (45.20) and <strong>Andrei Minakov (<\/strong>45.31) were the next three. Minakov is the Pac-12 record holder at 43.71 and holds the meet record at 43.90.<\/p>\n<p>It was back to Arizona State for three of the final four seeds with <strong>Filip Senc-Samardzic<\/strong> (45.49), <strong>Jonny Kulow<\/strong> (45.51) and <strong>Alexander Colson<\/strong> (45.91) making the top eight.<\/p>\n<pre><b>Event 11  Men 100 Yard
