It may well be a championship swansong, in the final conference championships before the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/stanford-cal-left-out-following-pac-12-collapse-solution-needed-for-top-tier-olympic-sports-programs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">league&#8217;s remnants are sent to the four corners of the college sports world next season<\/a>, a second battle this season between potential NCAA championship contenders in Cal and Arizona State.<\/p>\n<p>And boy did it start with a bang.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona State set an NCAA record in the 200 medley relay right out of the gates, the foursome of <strong>Jack Dolan, Leon Marchand, Ilya Kharun <\/strong>and<strong> Jonny Kulow<\/strong> going 1:20.55 to take down the record set by NC State at NCAAs last year.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s quite the start for a four-day meet, which runs through Saturday.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/results.teamunify.com\/pnws2\/meets\/PAC12M-2024\/?_ga=2.69444121.862508267.1650989788-1178540350.1635270747\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Live Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pac-12.com\/2024-pac-12-mens-swimming-championships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Information Page<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/pac-12-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pac-12 Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Pac-12 Men&#8217;s Championships Team Scores<\/h4>\n<pre>Through Event 5                      \r\n  1. So there\u2019s more meat left on the bone maybe? That slices .16 seconds off the meet and conference record the Sun Devils set last year. Marchand led off in 1:30.43, which is within three tenths of Andrew Seliskar\u2019s conference record from 2019 (1:30.14).<\/p>\n<p>Four teams secured NCAA A cuts. Stanford finished second in 6:10.08, led by <strong>Henry McFadden\u2019s<\/strong> 1:30.87 anchor leg. Cal was third in 6:10.53.
