Bray, owner of the Big 12 meet record at 1:50.09 (set last year), clocked 1:55.15 in prelims. The freshman is bidding to become the only male swimmer to win three individual events this week.<\/p>\n<p>Texas senior\u00a0<strong>Chris O&#8217;Connor<\/strong> was third in 1:42.89, with a big gap back to TCU&#8217;s <strong>Edgar Cicanci<\/strong> in fourth (1:44.44).<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 100 Freestyle<\/h2>\n<p>Texas claimed the top five spots in the women&#8217;s 100 free, with top seeds\u00a0<strong>Erin Gemmell<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Grace Cooper<\/strong> each looking for a second individual conference title. The freshman who won the 100 fly Thursday touched first in the 100 free prelims in 42.60.
