Northwestern University           215<\/pre>\n<h4>100 butterfly<\/h4>\n<p>The first event gave the clearest distillation of the team battle. <strong>Tomer Frankel<\/strong> of Indiana is the top seed with a time of 44.70 seconds, just .07 ahead of Michigan\u2019s <strong>Tyler Ray.<\/strong> The Wolverines also have <strong>Gal Groumi,<\/strong> the 200 IM champ, in third in 44.80. Barnett went 3:41.37 to get the middle lane, more than two seconds ahead of Northwestern\u2019s <strong>Diego Nosack.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Indiana placed a second swimmer in the A final, with <strong>Andrew Reiter<\/strong> seventh. <strong>Eitan Ben-Shitrit,<\/strong> the 200 IM runner-up, represents Michigan with the fourth seed. Tomer Frankel<\/strong> authored the first of several Indiana doubles this week with the third seed in in 1:33.23. He\u2019s less than two tenths ahead of Minnesota\u2019s <strong>Bar Soloveychik,<\/strong> who was just .04 off his school record from Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Wisconsin, fourth in the team standings, could get a move on with three A finalists, led by <strong>Christopher Morris<\/strong> in fifth. They constitute four of the five swimmers with sub-52 times this year in the field.<\/p>\n<p>Penn State\u2019s <strong>Mariano Lazzerini<\/strong> is second in 51.52, the fifth in the 52s.
