TRACY, Calif, August 14. FINIS, Inc., technological leader of advanced training equipment for the swimming industry, today announced a sponsorship agreement with pro triathlete, Peter Reid. Effective immediately, and throughout the 2004 triathlon season Peter will incorporate FINIS\u2019 innovative swimming products, such as the Swimmer\u2019s Toolkit and the LANE 4 competitive swim goggles to his training regimen and race day competitions.<\/p>\n

The terms of the agreement grant FINIS exclusive and worldwide rights to Reid\u2019s name, likeness and accomplishments. The company will first draw upon Reid\u2019s experience at the Hawaii Ironman later this year. Reid will assist Steve Tarpinian, author of \u201cThe Essential Swimmer\u201d and \u201cWater Workouts\u201d and creator of the critically acclaimed video \u201cSwim Power,\u201d in a Swimmer\u2019s Toolkit Clinic, hosted by FINIS. The swim-equipment clinic will be conducted on October 14th and 16th from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Admission is free, but limited to the first sixty arrivals.
