A native of Austin, Texas, Sockwell swam at ASU through 2016<\/a>, after spending his freshman season at George Mason. He was a junior national finalist in 2012 and he reached the Pac-12 championships all three seasons with the Sun Devils.<\/p>\n

Sockwell will receive the award at the 63rd annual CSCAA College Swimming and Diving Awards, at the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis on May 6.<\/p>\n
