Tess Heavner Verbally Commits to Notre Dame for 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Notre Dame has scored a new verbal commitment for the 2025-26 season and beyond from\u00a0Tess Heavner\u00a0<\/strong>of Fenton, Michigan.<\/p>\n

Heavner has a long family legacy at Notre Dame, dating back to the 1920s.<\/p>\n

She will join Ava Pape<\/strong><\/a> and Becky Rantz<\/strong><\/a> as a member of the Fighting Irish’s Class of 2029.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am blessed to announce my verbal commitment to continue mv academic and athletic career at the University of Notre Dame! I\u2019d like to thank God, my family, and every friend, teammate, coach, and teacher who has supported me over the years. I\u2019d also like to thank @ndswimdive coaches and swimmers for being so welcoming and supportive. GO IRISH!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A versatile swimmer, Heavner trains year-round with Club Wolverine and raced three events at Juniors East in December. She placed sixth in the 200 back and seventh in the 200 IM at Austin Sectionals last March.<\/p>\n
