Villanova topped Iowa State, 180-119, in the other meet.<\/p>\n<p>On the men\u2019s side, West Virginia beat Villanova handily, 234-66.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/villanova.com\/documents\/2024\/1\/27\/0127-WVUIowaState.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/big-12-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big 12 Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cheatwood went 1:01.15 to win the 100 breaststroke and 2:11.92 to dominate the field in the 200 breast. Szwabinska swept the sprints, going 22.90 in the 50 free and 50.60 in the 100 free.<\/p>\n<p>The duo paired with <strong>Victoria Kidney<\/strong> and <strong>Lilly Culp<\/strong> to win the 200 medley relay, and <strong>Makenna Wozny<\/strong> and <strong>Gabriela Martin De La<\/strong> <strong>Torre<\/strong> to secure the 400 free relay.<\/p>\n<p>De La Torre was part of the race of the day, tying for the win with Villanova\u2019s <strong>Molly Benson<\/strong> in the 200 free, both going 1:50.11. De La Torre was second to Benson in the 500 free.<\/p>\n<p>Culp won the 100 fly and was second in the 200 fly. <strong>Shelby Gerving<\/strong> made it a 1-2 in the 200 breast with Cheatwood, then won the 400 individual medley. The Mountaineers got a boost in diving with <strong>Sarah Kusinski<\/strong> winning 1-meter with 288.70 points ahead of mate <strong>Abigail Sullivan.<\/strong> That pair was second and third on 3-meter. <strong>Sara Haggerty<\/strong> set a program record on platform with 287.85 points.<\/p>\n<p>Villanova picked up wins starting with its distance contingent. <strong>Marlene Blanke<\/strong> swam away with the mile. Benson did the 200\/500 free double. <strong>Audrey Pastorek<\/strong> swept the backstroke events, with a time of 55.21 in the 100 and 1:59.61 in the 200. <strong>Katie White<\/strong> won the 200 fly in 1:59.86. <strong>Anna Farley<\/strong> was second in the 400 IM, as was <strong>Lainey Quinones<\/strong> in the 50 and 100 free.<\/p>\n<p>Iowa State\u2019s lone win came from <strong>Kate Mitchell,<\/strong> who scored 291.30 on 3-meter to top the field. <strong>Fallon DeWitt<\/strong> was second in the 200 back. <strong>Andie Quirke<\/strong> and <strong>Brinley Horras<\/strong> posted two third-place finishes each.<\/p>\n<p>West Virginia\u2019s men went 1-2 in each of the first 10 individual events until Villanova\u2019s <strong>Charlie Hinckley<\/strong> won the 500 free.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Danny Berlitz<\/strong> won two individual events, taking home the 200 back and 400 IM. <strong>Max Nielsen<\/strong> won the 200 free ahead of <strong>Conner McBeth,<\/strong> then McBeth got the better of him in the 100 free. McBeth and <strong>Justin Heimes,<\/strong> the winner of the 100 back, were on both winning relays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Owen Recker<\/strong> edged teammate <strong>Glenn Eloriaga<\/strong> in 1-meter
