The women won 221-79.<\/p>\n<p>There was a record in the bunch for the Hoosiers, with <strong>Anne Fowler<\/strong> scoring 415.58 points in an exhibition event at 3-meter. That bests the school\u2019s dual meet record by 15 points. Fowler also won 1-meter diving with a tally of 332.70.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/iuhoosiers.com\/documents\/2024\/1\/27\/05_Purdue.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/big-ten-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Ten Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Grad student <strong>Brendan Burns<\/strong> led the parade of winners on a day honoring him and his classmates. He led off the 200 medley relay that went 1:25.57, teaming with <strong>Finn Brooks, Tomer Frankel<\/strong> and <strong>Mikkel Lee.<\/strong> Burns won the 200 freestyle in 1:37.27 and the 100 butterfly in 47.34. Burns anchored the winning 400 free relay with Lee, <strong>Rafael Miroslaw<\/strong> and Frankel in 2:54.41.<\/p>\n<p>Frankel won the 100 free. Miroslaw went 19.93 to win the 50 free. <strong>Jassen Yep<\/strong> was second in the 200 free then won the 200 breaststroke, edging 100 breast winner <strong>Max Reich. Warren Briggs<\/strong> swept the 1,000 free and 500 free. <strong>Armando Vegas<\/strong> (200 fly), <strong>Alejandro Kincaid<\/strong> (200 back) and <strong>Toby Barnett<\/strong> (200 individual medley) rounded out the winners.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brady Samuels<\/strong> picked up Purdue\u2019s lone swimming win by going 47.67 in the 100 back to edge Frankel. He was second to Frankel in the 100 free. <strong>Patrick Broderick<\/strong> finished second in the 1,000 free. <strong>Jordan Rzepka<\/strong> won platform diving with a score of 496.20 and 1-meter ta 409.43. The latter was a 1-2 with <strong>Max Miller.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the Indiana women, <strong>Ashley Turak\u2019s<\/strong> sprinting contributed to the Hoosiers\u2019 victory. Turak won the 100 breast in 1:02.72 and the 100 free in 49.76. She was the only swimmer on both the winning 200 medley relay and 400 free relay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sze Yeo<\/strong> and <strong>Kacey McKenna<\/strong> took part in the 200 medley relay win and went on to win the 50 free and 200 back, respectively. Yeo was also second in the 100 free, McKenna second in the 50 free. The 400 free relay include 1,000 free winner <strong>Anna Peplowski,<\/strong> 500 free champ <strong>Ella Ristic<\/strong> and 100 fly victor <strong>Kristina Peagle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ching Gan<\/strong> won the 200 free. <strong>Mya DeWitt<\/strong> captured the 100 back. <strong>Lily Hann<\/strong> prevailed in the 200 fly. <strong>Anna Freed<\/strong> won the 200 IM. <strong>Skyler Liu<\/strong> scored 378.60 to secure platform diving honors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maggie Love\u2019s<\/strong> victory in the 200 breaststroke was the only one for the Purdue women. She was also third in the 50 free. <strong>Kate Mouser<\/strong> was second in the 200 breast and 200 IM, as was <strong>Masy Folcik<\/strong> in the 100 breast and <strong>Abby Marcukaitis<\/strong>
