0.09 lead.<\/p>\n<p>Bagshaw extended that to 0.35 at the final turn only for Bird to come past him with a 27.74 last 50 and stop the clock in 3:54.39 to 3:54.79.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ed Mildred<\/strong> held a 0.30 lead over <strong>Jacob Peters<\/strong> at halfway in the 100 fly before holding off his fast-finishing teammate to win in 53.05 to 53.08.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack Cassin<\/strong> of Swim Ireland was third in 54.64.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adela Piskorska<\/strong> &#8211; double champion at last year&#8217;s World University Games &#8211; won the 50 back in 28.17 with <strong>Lottie Cullen<\/strong> (28.88) and <strong>Maria Godden<\/strong> (29.16) making it two <strong>Swim Ireland<\/strong> athletes on the podium.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Victoria Catterson<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 200 free from which <strong>Freya Anderson<\/strong> withdrew after heading the prelims.<\/p>\n<p>The Irish swimmer touched in\u00a02:01.60 with <strong>Lotte Vanhauwaert<\/strong> of Belgium next home in 2:01.99.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fleur Vermeiren<\/strong> was the only woman inside 32secs in the 50m breaststroke, clocking 31.66 ahead of <strong>Hylcke de Beer<\/strong> and
