Baravelli won the 200 breast in 2:00.33, with Cunningham third. He also went 1:49.88 in the 200 individual medley.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/acc-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACC Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/ivy-league-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ivy League Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/seminoles.com\/news\/2024\/1\/9\/mens-swimming-and-diving-no-16-noles-down-harvard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Baravelli swam breaststroke in Florida State\u2019s winning 200 medley relay, which edged Harvard\u2019s A squad by .33 seconds in 1:28.58. He joined <strong>Mason Herbet, Tobias Schulrath<\/strong> and <strong>Jokubas Keblys<\/strong> on that quartet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yordan Yanchev<\/strong> also won twice for Florida State, striking at Harvard\u2019s traditional distance depth. Yanchev\u2019s time of 1:37.02 in the 200 free, leading a 1-2 with <strong>Utku Kurtdere.<\/strong> He won the 500 free in 4:27.04 to deny a race of strength for the Crimson.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peter Varjasi<\/strong> won the 100 free and 100 fly for the Seminoles, closer to their traditional strength. He went 43.21 to rout the field in the 100 free by more than two seconds. His time of 48.26 led a 1-2 with <strong>Sam Bork.<\/strong> Varjasi\u2019s time of 20.34 was second in the 50 free. He was quicker in leading off the victorious Florida State 200 free relay in 20.00, teaming with <strong>Max Wilson,<\/strong> Keblys (19.84) and Bork to win in 1:20.08.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darwin Nolasco<\/strong> scored 405.15 points to win 3-meter diving, a 1-2 result with <strong>David Vargas Garcia.<\/strong> Nolasco had been second on 1-meter.<\/p>\n<p>Harvard applied plenty of pressure, in its distance stock and trade and well beyond. <strong>Cole Kuster<\/strong> won the 1,000 free in 9:14.93 and finished second in the 500. <strong>David Schmitt<\/strong> and <strong>Felipe Baffico<\/strong> went 1-2 in the 200 fly, then Schmitt finished third in the 100 fly. <strong>Anthony Rincon<\/strong> won the 200 back in 1:47.30, edging out teammate <strong>Gunner Grant,<\/strong> who\u2019d won the 100 back.<\/p>\n<p>Harvard\u2019s sprinters contributed to the effort. <strong>Sonny Wang<\/strong> won the 50 free in 20.29 seconds. <strong>David Greeley<\/strong> was second in the 100 free. The Crimson also scored a win on 1-meter diving via <strong>Adam Wesson\u2019s<\/strong> score of 333.75.<\/p>\n<p>The meet was men\u2019s only, as Florida State was due to swim Northern Florida, but the Ospreys were unable to travel due to wind.
