Freestyler Allison Bischoff Pledges 2025 Verbal to Virginia<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Virginia has received an in-state verbal commitment for the 2025-26 season and beyond from freestyle specialist Allison Bischoff\u00a0<\/strong>out of Henrico, Virginia.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Raya Mellott<\/strong>, Sophia Umstead<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Sylvia Roy<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Madi Mintenko\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>in Charlottesville as a member of the Cavaliers\u2019 Class of 2029.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Virginia! I want to give a huge thanks to my family, friends, and coaches for helping me get to where I am today. I also want to thank the coaches at Virginia for giving me this amazing opportunity! I cannot wait to be a Hoo! WAHOOWA”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bischoff, who does her club swimming with NOVA of Virginia Aquatics, most recently earned a best time at Juniors East. She won the 400m free at Virginia Long Course Seniors this past summer and placed eighth in both the 500 free and 1000 free at NCSA Spring Championships.<\/p>\n
