Michigan Lands 2025 Verbal From Florida 1A State Champion Lila Higgo<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Michigan has secured a new verbal commitment for Fall 2025 from\u00a0Lila Higgo\u00a0<\/strong>of the Cayman Islands. She is currently based out of Jacksonville, Florida.<\/p>\n

She will join Montse Spielmann<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Ann Arbor as a member of the Wolverines’ Class of 2029.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Michigan! I would like to thank my family, friends and coaches for helping me along the way. Go Blue!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Higgo does her club swimming with Bolles School Sharks and raced to fifth in the 100 back, eighth in the 100 free and 14th in the 50 free at Juniors East last month. She won the B-final of the 100m back at Junior Nationals last summer.<\/p>\n
