They will begin their terms on the board of USA Swimming\u2019s philanthropic arm on Jan. 1, 2024 and serve through 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are thrilled to welcome Kelley, Heather, and Kim to the board of directors in January,&#8221; <strong>Elaine Calip<\/strong>, Senior Director of Development for the USA Swimming Foundation, said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usaswimming.org\/news\/2023\/12\/05\/usa-swimming-foundation-announces-results-of-board-of-directors-elections\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in a press release<\/a>. &#8220;They bring diverse perspectives and backgrounds to this board, and we know they will enhance our mission and efforts moving forward.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The trio will join <strong>Anne Berry, Jay DeFinis<\/strong> and <strong>Elizabeth Beisel,<\/strong> all of whom were re-elected to a second three-year term <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usaswimming.org\/foundation#board-of-directors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on the board<\/a>. Berry is the vice chair for a second term, DeFinis moves into the treasurer role and Beisel will become the organization\u2019s secretary through 2025. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/usa-swimming-foundation-board-of-directors-adds-andrew-wilson-dan-clough-john-enquist-kyle-jackson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The board<\/a> elected <strong>Alex Blavatnik<\/strong> as a trustee council representative.<\/p>\n<p>One member to depart the board is former swimmer <strong>Tom Luchsinger<\/strong>, who was hired by USA Swimming Foundation and its director of development. His term will be completed by <strong>Mary Wayte,<\/strong> a four-time Olympic gold medalist at the 1984 and 1988 Games.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Retaining Anne, Jay, and Elizabeth on our Board of Directors is incredibly important to our strategic planning and success,&#8221; Calip said. &#8220;They each bring strong leadership, passion and valued skills to the group and are very active members of the board.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gay is the senior vice president and chief marketing officer of USA Swimming partner One America, a financial services firm. Gay was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncaa.org\/sports\/2016\/12\/1\/kelley-gay-strength-through-adaptability.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a national champion basketball player<\/a> at the University of Connecticut.<\/p>\n<p>Glass is a project manager of data analytics for TeamHealth, a physicians practice. She\u2019s a swim instructor who has long been involved in water safety and learn-to-swim. She\u2019s worked with the Emerald Youth Foundation in Knoxville, Tenn.<\/p>\n<p>Chen Bock is the director of strategy and operations for global business development at digital infrastructure company Equinix.
