Colorado State was third with 528, followed by Iowa State (518), Rutgers (363) and New Mexico state (348).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/hawkeyesports-com\/2023\/12\/cedec588-2023-hawkeye-invite-meet-results23.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hawkeye Invitational Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/big-ten-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Ten Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jorgenson started the meet by winning Thursday\u2019s 500 free in 4:43.87, nearly 4.5 seconds clear of the field. She finished third in the 400 individual medley on Friday but led off the 800 free relay in 1:48.69 to put the Huskers into clean water on the way to a decisive relay win. Jorgenson\u2019s relay split was quicker than the 1:49.04 used by Iowa\u2019s <strong>Jenna Kerr<\/strong> to win the individual event. Second on that relay was <strong>Giulia Marchi,<\/strong> who anchored the relay with <strong>Caterina Bisiacchi<\/strong> and <strong>Alexa Kucera.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jorgenson won the mile on the final day of competition with a time of 16:15.82, more than 14 seconds clear of the field. Bisiacchi was third.<\/p>\n<p>Nebraska\u2019s <strong>Jojo Randby<\/strong> won the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.54, a 1-2 finish with <strong>Maia<\/strong> <strong>Hall.<\/strong> Randby was fourth in the 50 free, Hall second in the 200 breast. Sarah Barton won the 200 backstroke in 1:57.28, just outtouching Colorado State\u2019s <strong>Tess Whineray.<\/strong> Barton was second in the 200 IM, fourth in the 400 IM and third in the 200 butterfly, won by teammate <strong>Anastasia Tichy<\/strong> in 1:58.87.<\/p>\n<p>Iowa won four of five relays. The first was the only close one, the 200 free quartet of <strong>Kennedy Gilbertson, Jenna Kerr, Olivia Swalley<\/strong> and <strong>Scarlet Martin<\/strong> going 1:31.46 to edge Nebraska by .44 seconds. Those same four prevailed in the 400 medley and 20 medley, then Kerr, Swalley and Martin joined <strong>Sabina Kupcova<\/strong> to cap the meet by winning the 400 free relay in 3:20.47.<\/p>\n<p>Swalley swept the IMs and won the 200 breast on the meet\u2019s final day. She also took home third in the 100 breast. Gilbertson won the 50 free in 22.70 (with Martin third) and captured the 100 back in 54.13 (with teammate <strong>Hope Schimming<\/strong> third.)<\/p>\n<p>Martin also finished third in the 100 fly and second in the 200 fly. Kerr was third in the 500 free and 200 free and fourth in the mile.<\/p>\n<p>Rutgers got a win courtesy of <strong>Martyna Piesko,<\/strong> who bested the field in the 100 fly. She was second in the 100 back in the same session and fifth in the 200 back. <strong>Elysha Pribadi<\/strong> finished third in the 200 IM and third in the 200 breast.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lexie Trietley<\/strong> won the 100 free for Colorado State in 49.76. She was second in the 50 free. <strong>Erin Dawson<\/strong> placed second in the 400 IM, and <strong>Maya White<\/strong> was the runner-up in the mile.<\/p>\n<p>New Mexico State\u2019s <strong>Naomi Slee<\/strong> was the runner-up in the 500. Teammate <strong>Lindsay Puhalski<\/strong> finished third in the 200 back.<\/p>\n<p>Iowa State\u2019s <strong>Lauren Kimball<\/strong> won both springboard diving events.
