{"id":574097,"date":"2023-12-05T14:55:30","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T21:55:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=574097"},"modified":"2023-12-05T14:55:30","modified_gmt":"2023-12-05T21:55:30","slug":"speedo-winter-junior-championships-fields-set-psych-sheets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/speedo-winter-junior-championships-fields-set-psych-sheets\/","title":{"rendered":"Speedo Winter Junior Championships Fields Set (Psych Sheets)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Speedo Winter Junior Championships Fields Set (Psych Sheets)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The field has been released for the 2023 Speedo Winter Junior Championships.<\/p>\n<p>There will be two meets, East and West.<\/p>\n<p>The East meet will take place Dec. 6-9 at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas Heilman<\/strong> and <strong>Alex Shackell<\/strong> lead the East field as the best 18-and-under swimmers in the country get ready to square off in a full meet of national championship events.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2023-speedo-winter-juniors-east-psych-sheet\/usa-senior-national\/2023\/December\/5?rtn=%2Fresults%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EAST PSYCH SHEET<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/swmeets.com\/Realtime\/scjuniors\/2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">East Live Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Speedo Winter Juniors West will take place in Westmont, Ill., just outside of Chicago, also from Dec. 6-9.<\/p>\n<p>The West field is led by <strong>Teagan O&#8217;Dell, Leah Hayes, Max Williamson<\/strong> and <strong>Piper Enge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2023-speedo-winter-juniors-west-psych-sheet\/usa-senior-national\/2023\/December\/5?rtn=%2Fresults%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WEST PSYCH SHEET<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/swimmeetresults.tech\/USA-Swimming-Speedo-Winter-Junior-Championships-West-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">West Live Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Notes on junior eligibility:<\/p>\n<p>Swimmers participating in the Speedo Winter Junior Championships must compete at the specific location (East or West) as determined by the LSC in which they are registered with USA Swimming. Please refer to the boundary map on the next page. All athletes at the meet must be 18 years old or younger on the first day of the meet.
