I\u2019d like to thank Coach Durden, Coach Marsh, and the entire Cal staff for this incredible opportunity. Much gratitude also goes out to my family, friends, and coaches for their many years of support. Go Bears!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">A distance freestyler, Rousseau does his club swimming with Pacific Swim and earned four best times at Junior Nationals this past summer where his highest finish was a 21st-place showing in the 800m free. Last winter, he finished third in the 1000 free and seventh in the mile at Juniors West.<\/div>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500 free &#8211; 4:24.90<\/li>\n<li>1000 free &#8211; 9:06.62<\/li>\n<li>1650 free &#8211; 15:12.74<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 3:56.43<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently a junior at Del Norte High School, Rousseau finished 18th in the 500 free and 19th in the 200 free at the 2023 CIF State Championships.
