The Ohio State Invitational kicked off on Thursday from Columbus.<\/p>\n

The Day 1 events included the women’s and men’s 200 free relay, 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free and 400 medley relay.<\/p>\n

Indiana leads the men’s meet with 803 points, followed by Ohio State (760), Louisville (579.5), Notre Dame (491.5), Cincinnati (337), Pitt (103) and Cal (62).<\/p>\n

Ohio State lead’s the women’s meet with 791, followed by Indian (711), Louisville (646), Notre Dame (386), Cincinnati (355), Ohio (112), Pitt (64) and Cal (60).<\/p>\n

Women’s 200 Free Relay<\/strong><\/p>\n

Indiana started the meet fast with a pool record in the 200 free relay. The Hoosiers got to the wall in 1:26.86 to break the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion record.<\/p>\n

Anna Peplowski, Ashley Turak, Sze Yao<\/strong> and Kristina Paegle<\/strong> earned the win for the Hoosiers, an NCAA “A” cut.<\/p>\n

Ohio State took second with Teresa Ivan, Katherine Zenick, Tristan Harrison<\/strong> and Amy<\/strong> Fulmer<\/strong> swimming an “A” cut of 1:27.00.<\/p>\n

Louisville also reached an “A” cut with Gabi Albiero, Chriiana Regenauer, Julia Dennis<\/strong> and Ella Welch<\/strong> taking third in 1:27.32.<\/p>\n

Ohio State sophomore Tristan Jankovics<\/strong> swam a “B” cut to earn a win in the 200 IM. He got to the wall in 1:42.76 to beat the competition by a little more than a tenth of a second.<\/p>\n
Indiana took the next four spots with Luke Barr (1:42.88), Jassen Yep<\/strong> (1:44.93), Toby Barnett<\/strong> (1:45.00) and Max Reich<\/strong> (1:45.07).<\/p>\n
