The Wisconsin women likewise romped to a 181-119 win.<\/p>\n<p>Torok swam to victories in the 200 butterfly (1:45.36), the 200 breaststroke (1:58.39) and the 200 individual medley (1:47.60). The 200 breast was a 1-2 finish with <strong>Matthew Segal,<\/strong> who also won the 100 breast in 54.40.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gophersports.com\/documents\/2023\/11\/4\/mn_vs_wisc_results.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/big-ten-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Ten Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Torok was joined by a pair of double winners in <strong>Yigit Aslan<\/strong> and <strong>Jake Newmark.<\/strong> Aslan went 9:09.48 to win the 1,000 freestyle and 4:25.35 to prevail in the 500 free. Newmark got to the wall first in a tight 100 backstroke race, clocking in at 47.91. His win in the 200 back came by more than a second in 1:46.65.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ben Wiegand<\/strong> went 20.09 seconds in the 50 free, part of a 1-2-3 result for the Badgers. <strong>Taiko Torepe-Ormsby<\/strong> was second with <strong>Andrew Benson<\/strong> third.<\/p>\n<p>Newmark, Segal, Torepe-Ormsby and Wiegand went 1:39.13 to win the 200 medley relay. Benson, <strong>Chris Morris, Luukas Vainio<\/strong> and Newmark went 2:58.07 in the 400 free relay.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota won a race in each half of the meet. <strong>Bar Soloveychik<\/strong> went 1:38.01 to edge Vainio by .09 to win the 200 free. <strong>Davide Maria Harabagiu,<\/strong> who finished second in the 100 back, won the 100 fly in 48.40. <strong>Kaiser Neverman<\/strong> was second in the event, as he was in the 200 fly and the 100 free. Soloveychik was second in the 500 free. The Golden Gophers won both diving events, <strong>YuTong Wang<\/strong> picking up both wins.<\/p>\n<p>The Wisconsin women\u2019s team met little resistance, with <strong>Mackenzie McConagha, Hazal Ozkan <\/strong>and <strong>Abby Carlson<\/strong> winning two individual events each.<\/p>\n<p>Ozkan went 1:02.53 to win the 100 breast and 2:14.62 in the 200 breast. She also finished third in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Carlson dominated the 200 free with a time of 1:46.88 and the pulled out a tight race in the 100 free in 49.91. McConagha\u2019s time of 53.94 gave her a win in the 100 fly, as did the 53.35 she posted in the 100 back.<\/p>\n<p>McConagha and Ozkan teamed with <strong>Phoebe Bacon<\/strong> and <strong>Hailey Tierney<\/strong> to win the 200 medley relay in 1:39.13. Carlson, Tierney, <strong>Blair Stoneburg<\/strong> and Bacon clocked in at 3:19.82 to win cap the meet with a 400 free relay victory.<\/p>\n<p>Stoneburg won the 500 free in 4:49.67 ahead of teammate <strong>Paige McKenna.<\/strong> Stoneburg had been second to <strong>Maddie Waggoner<\/strong> in the 1,000 free. Bacon was second to Carlson in the 200 free. She won the 200 back in 1:56.51, winning by nearly five seconds. Tierney claimed the 50 free with a time of 22.66.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota\u2019s lone swimming wins were supplied by <strong>Megan Van Berkom,<\/strong> who blew away the 200 fly field with a time of 1:57.50. She added the 200 IM crown in 2:00.15 after having finished second in the 200 breast. <strong>Paula Rodriguez Rivero<\/strong> was second in both backstroke events.
