Here are a look at the honorees:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Men\u2019s Swimmer of the Week: Kaique Alves, Alabama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alabama\u2019s Kaique Alves, a junior from Sao Paulo, Brazil, earned four trips to the podium to help lead his team to a 180-118 win over No. 20 Missouri. Alves took first place in the 100 free with a time of 43.48 and in the 200 free with a time of 1:35.82. He also swam the leadoff leg of the winning 400 free relay (2:55.72\/43.51) and the second leg of the first-place 200 medley relay (1:26.98\/23.90).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>SEC Men\u2019s Diver of the Week: Collier Dyer Missouri<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Missouri\u2019s Collier Dyer, a sophomore from Littleton, Colo., swept the springboard events in the conference opener at No. 19 Alabama. Dyer posted top scores of 337.80 on the 1-meter and 320.40 on the 3-meter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More College News<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>SEC Men\u2019s Freshman of the Week: Tommy Hagar, Alabama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alabama\u2019s Tommy Hagar, a freshman from Braintree, Mass., claimed four podium finishes in the win over No. 20 Missouri. Hagar touched the wall first in the 200 back (1:44.81) and the 200 IM (1:49.49) and finished second in the 200 fly (1:47.88). He also swam the leadoff leg of the winning 200 medley relay (1:26.98\/22.51).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>SEC Women\u2019s Swimmer of the Week: Mackenzie Brandt, Alabama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alabama\u2019s Mackenzie Brandt, a sophomore from Wilmington, Del., won both distance events in the conference-opening win over Missouri. Brandt recorded the 18th fastest time in the nation to win the 500 free with a time of 4:49.04 and the 21st fastest time in the nation to win the 1000 free with a time of 9:58.10.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>SEC Women\u2019s Diver of the Week: Kayla Wilson, Missouri<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Missouri\u2019s Kayla Wilson, a senior from Flower Mound, Texas, took first place on the 3-meter springboard with a personal-best score of 331.73 in the conference opener at No. 20 Alabama. Wilson took third on the 1-meter with a final score of 276.68.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>SEC Women\u2019s Freshman of the Week: Jada Scott, Alabama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alabama\u2019s Jada Scott, a freshman from San Antonio, Texas, won three individual events and was a part of a winning relay in the conference-opening win over Missouri. Scott posted an NCAA B-cut time of 49.05 to win the 100 free, the 12th fastest time in the nation.
