Of the 20 total swimming events of the evening, the Gophers claimed the top spot in 14 of them, including top two finishes in eight.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The women\u2019s team saw six different individual winners for the evening in the pool.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Senior <strong>Megan Van Berkom<\/strong> touched the wall first in the 400 IM (4:13.06), followed by freshman <strong>Katie McCarthy<\/strong> in second (4:22.61). The duo also finished one-two in the 500 free, with McCarthy taking the top spot with a time of 4:51.38, followed by Van Berkom at 4:51.54.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Gophers also saw individual victories from sophomores<strong> Ava Yablonski<\/strong> in the 100 fly (54.90) and <strong>Grace Drabot i<\/strong>n the 100 breast (1:04.11), as well as junior <strong>Hannah Cornish<\/strong> in the 50 free (23.14) and senior <strong>Paula Rodriguez Rivero<\/strong> in the 100 back (55.11).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Minnesota women also got wins from both relay teams. Rodriguez Rivero<strong>, Ava Goodno,<\/strong> Yablonski and Cornish made up the 200 medley relay team that finished in 1:42.22. Cornish and Yablonski joined<strong> Mina Kaljevic<\/strong> and <strong>Morgan Thomas<\/strong> on the first-place 400 freestyle relay team with a time of 3:24.60.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In the diving well, freshman <strong>Elna Widerstrom<\/strong> claimed her first career victory with a score of 303.83 in the 1-meter. <strong>Adeline Albrecht<\/strong> and <strong>Av Osero<\/strong> both contributed points for Minnesota behind scores of 284.33 and 257.33, respectively.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Three Minnesota men garnered individual wins in the pool along with one relay victory.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Freshman <strong>Davide Harabagiu<\/strong> took first place in the 100 fly with a time of 46.11 with teammate <strong>Kaiser Neverman<\/strong> placing third with a time of 47.14.
