I want to thank my family, friends, Coach Ron, and all the Sandpiper coaches and families for helping me achieve my goals. GO HOOSIER&#8221;<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s no surprise that the top miler in the class trains year-round with Sandpipers of Nevada. Ellis is coming off a fantastic summer where he earned five Olympic Trials cuts. He also placed sixth in both the 800m free and 1500m free at the FINA World Junior Championships. His 800m time was a personal best.<\/p>\n<p>Ellis impressed with a seventh-place showing in the 1500m free and 100% best times at Phillips 66 Nationals. He won the mile at Juniors West back in December<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1650 free \u2013 14:49.79<\/li>\n<li>1000 free \u2013 8:57.32<\/li>\n<li>500 free \u2013 4:22.23<\/li>\n<li>400 IM \u2013 3:47.68<\/li>\n<li>200 fly \u2013 1:47.23<\/li>\n<li>200 back \u2013 1:46.17<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ellis&#8217; best mile time would&#8217;ve been the fastest on the Hoosiers&#8217; lineup last year by four seconds.
