Free Prelims<\/h4>\n<p>The fourth day of the pool programme at the <strong>Asian Games<\/strong> dawned with China sitting atop the medal table after winning all but five golds on offer in Hangzhou, China.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/info.hangzhou2022.cn\/en\/results\/swimming\/daily-schedule.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Asian Games Page<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>China<\/strong> has 15 golds, 13 silvers and four bronze medals with\u00a0<strong>Korea<\/strong> second (two gold, two silver and five bronze) ahead of <strong>Hong Kong<\/strong>\u00a0(2, 1, 2) and <strong>Japan<\/strong> (1, 4, 9).<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how the fourth morning of prelims unfolded at the <strong>Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Aquatic Sports Arena<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>Women&#8217;s 100m Butterfly<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Zhang Yufei<\/strong> got the heat off to a speedy start with an <strong>Asian Games<\/strong> record of 56.20.<\/p>\n<p>The Chinese swimmer &#8211; winner of the 200 fly &#8211; lowered <strong>Rikako Ikee<\/strong>&#8216;s previous standard of 56.30 set in Jakarta five years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Behind her came <strong>Ai Soma<\/strong> of Japan (57.92) and <strong>Wang Yichun<\/strong> (58.09).<\/p>\n<h4>Men&#8217;s 100m Butterfly<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Wang Changhao<\/strong> topped the field in 51.55, hours after swimming the fly leg as China rattled the men&#8217;s medley relay world record in a new Asian mark.<\/p>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s <strong>Katsuhiro Matsumoto<\/strong> (51.88) and <strong>Adilbelk Mussin<\/strong> (51.98) of Kazakhstan were the other men inside 52.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 100m Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wang Xueer<\/strong> was the only woman inside 1:01 in 1:00.87 ahead of Japan&#8217;s <strong>Miki Takahashi<\/strong> and Korea&#8217;s <strong>Lee Eunji<\/strong> of Korea who both clocked 1:01.29.<\/p>\n<h4>Men&#8217;s 200m Freestyle<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Hwang Sunwoo<\/strong> topped the field in 1:47.08 with the Korean looking to claim his first Asian Games title, two months after claiming his second world medal in as many years over four lengths at the <strong>World Championships.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s <strong>Mano Hidenari<\/strong> was second through in 1:47.79 with <strong>Lee Hojoon<\/strong> the second Korean progressing in 1:48.13.<\/p>\n<h4>Women&#8217;s 100m Breaststroke<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Satomi Suzuki<\/strong> was well clear at the head of the field as she looks to defend her 2018 title, going 1:06.49.<\/p>\n<h4>Women&#8217;s 400m Individual Medley<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Yu Yiting<\/strong> was the only Chinese woman to appear in this event but she managed to top the seeds in 4:44.25.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ageha Tanigawa<\/strong> of Japan was the only woman within three seconds of Yu, going 4:44.91.<\/p>\n<h4>4x100m Mixed Medley Relay<\/h4>\n<p>China led the way in 3:45.67
