During the Sunday Night Football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders, fans took a quick break from cheering for football to cheer for swimming.<\/p>\n

Las Vegas native and Olympic swimmer Katie Grimes<\/strong>, who swims for the Sandpipers of Nevada swim club in Las Vegas, was honored during a break in the action on national TV.<\/p>\n

The scoreboard showed some of her career highlights, including qualifying for the Olympic team in 2021. Grimes was on hand and gave a wave to the crowd that robustly cheered on their hometown hero.<\/p>\n
