Auburn swimmer Reid Mikuta<\/strong> was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of rape, according to reports out of Alabama<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mikuta was booked in Lee County, which contains Auburn\u2019s campus, under the name Christopher Reid Mikuta. He was indicted in August by a grand jury over an incident on Dec. 9, 2022, in which he is alleged to have \u201cengage(d) in sexual intercourse with a member of the opposite sex who was incapable of consent by reason of being physically helpless or mentally incapacitated.\u201d The indictment was filed on Sept. 1.<\/p>\n

Mikuta is a rising senior at Auburn.
