Thank you to everyone who has helped me reach this dream of mine!! Go Bears\ud83d\udc3b\ud83d\udc99\ud83d\udc9b&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Shackell earned silver at the World Championships in July as part of the 4x200m free relay.<\/p>\n<p>She earned her spot on Team USA&#8217;s roster after finishing fifth in the 200m free at Phillips 66 Nationals. Back in December, she won the 50 free, 100 free, 100 fly and 200 IM at Juniors East.<\/p>\n<p>She trains year-round with the elite Carmel Swim Club. A current junior at Carmel High School, she is the two-time defending champion in the 100 fly at the Indiana State Championship.<\/p>\n<p>In yards, her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 21.73<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 47.44<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:43.60<\/li>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 50.89<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 1:53.52<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 1:54.54<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:10.49<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In long course meters, her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50m free &#8211; 25.25<\/li>\n<li>100m free &#8211; 54.08<\/li>\n<li>200m free &#8211; 1:56.70<\/li>\n<li>100m fly &#8211; 57.59<\/li>\n<li>200m fly &#8211; 2:07.95<\/li>\n<li>200m IM &#8211; 2:13.63<\/li>\n<li>400m IM &#8211; 4:52.73<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By the time she arrives in Berkeley, Cal will be part of the Atlantic Coast Conference. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2019 with a degree in Public Communication and a double minor in Coaching and Sports Management.
