sub-29 as the top 16 qualified for the semifinals in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Australia\u2019s <strong>Iona Anderson<\/strong> took the top seed in 28.16, three tenths of a second ahead of USA\u2019s <strong>Erika Pelaez<\/strong>, who reached the wall in 28.48.<\/p>\n<p>Japan\u2019s<strong> Miri Sasaki<\/strong> took the third spot (28.69), followed by a tie between Italy\u2019s <strong>Giada Gorlier<\/strong> and Australia\u2019s <strong>Jacklyn Barclay<\/strong> (28.84).<\/p>\n<p>USA\u2019s <strong>Teagan O\u2019Dell<\/strong> took the eighth spot in 28.96.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" butterfly and will take the top seed into the semifinals.<\/p>\n<p>Austria\u2019s <strong>Lukas Edl<\/strong> took the second spot (24.14), followed by Kazakhstan <strong>Maxim Skazobtsov<\/strong> get to the wall in 4:09.48 to earn the top seed in the event heading into finals.<\/p>\n<p>USA\u2019s <strong>Addison Sauickie<\/strong> claimed the second seed in 4:09.64 setting up a highly anticipated final between the duo, the only two in the field who broke 4:10 in prelims.<\/p>\n<p>Australia\u2019s <strong>Jamie Perkins<\/strong> took the third spot in 4:10.54, followed by USA\u2019s breaststroke.
