Penn State Adds Dan Flack as Assistant Coach<\/strong><\/p>\n

Penn State on Tuesday announced the hiring of Dan Flack<\/strong> as an assistant coach, bringing a wealth of experience to Happy Valley.<\/p>\n

Flack joins the staff of coach Tim Murphy<\/strong> bringing a wealth of national and scholastic experience.<\/p>\n

“We are delighted to add the breadth of knowledge, expertise and success that Dan brings to our program,” Murphy said in a university statement<\/a>. “We’re also proud to welcome him back to the great state of Pennsylvania!”<\/p>\n

Flack worked with the USA Junior National Team in several capacities dating to 2011. He was the head coach for the U.S. team at the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Championship and was an assistant at the World Junior Championships on three occasions. He coached 11 athletes to places on the national team, both senior and junior.<\/p>\n
