The San Marino, Calif. native will arrive at The Farm ahead of the 2024-25 season.<\/p>\n<p>Li, an Olympic Trials qualifier, owns the fastest 100 breast time in his class with a speedy 52.43.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>&#8220;I am extremely excited to announce my commitment to Stanford University. It is a huge honor to be able to continue my swim and educational career at one of the top universities in the county. I would like to thank my coaches, especially Coach Andrew, Hector, Jeff, and Kristine for helping me get this far in my career. I would also like to thank my family for supporting me throughout the years. Finally, I would like to thank Coach Dan and Coach Neil for offering me this special opportunity to swim at the Farm. Go Card!!!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Li does his club swimming with Rose Bowl Aquatics and most recently finished seventh in the 100m breast at Junior Nationals after taking 17th in the 200m breast at Phillips 66 Nationals. He was the runner-up in the 100 breast at Juniors West in December where he also took fourth in the 200 breast.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 breast \u2013 52.43\/1:01.90<\/li>\n<li>200 breast \u2013 1:55.08\/2:14.15<\/li>\n<li>200 IM \u2013 1:47.60\/2:07.78<\/li>\n<li>400 IM \u2013 3:54.12\/4:39.52<\/li>\n<li>200 free \u2013 1:38.16\/1:53.89<\/li>\n<li>500 free \u2013 4:30.33\/4:10.80<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now a senior at San Marino High School, Li earned gold in the 100 breast and bronze in the 200 IM at the 2023 CIF State Championships.
