BARCELONA, July 19. THE meet starts tomorrow and you can feel the excitment on the pool deck. It is an amazing expierence to walk onto the competition pool and see so many amazing athletes preparing themselves for the meet. It makes it hard to focus on your own race sometimes when there are so many familiar faces around. <\/p>\n
The other day we went to a water polo game, USA vs. Australia. The US won 13 to 7 and it was an awesome match. It was one of the only things we got to do because we have been napping so much. <\/p>\n
The swimming pool is absolutely unreal. It is in a basketball arena so when we step up for our races it will feel like the crowd is all around us. <\/p>\n
Barcelona is a beautiful place. Anyone who has not made it here should definitely take a trip. You couldn't ask for a better location for a meet. The diving pool overlooks the whole city of Barcelona and the water polo pool is right on the beach. Granted, it's a nude beach, but it is still beautiful…the water<\/i> is beautiful, that is!!! <\/p>\n
Things are going great for me personally. I am just getting really anxious for the meet to start so we can get swimming and do what we came here to do. <\/p>\n

Brendan Hansen was upset I hadn't mentioned his name yet, so everyone watch out for him in the 200 breaststroke. We breaststrokers have to stick together. And a special thanks to my girl, Gabby (Gabrielle Rose) for keeping me entertained during all the boring times.<\/p>\n
