CURTIS Ogren had two reasons to celebrate at the finish of the 200-yard individual medley at the Central Coast section championships last Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Not only did the St. Francis Prep senior lower the independent national high school record of 1:45.01 that he set last year, but his winning time of 1:44.90 got him under that tough 1:45 barrier as he prepares to join the Stanford men&#8217;s team in the fall. Incidentally, he&#8217;ll train with the current overall high school record holder David Nolan in Palo Alto.<\/p>\n<p>In this video, Ogren executes all four strokes perfectly and opens his lead on the field with each 50.
