The San Antonio Wave finished 10th of 63 teams at the Texas State Championships. Leading the way for the Wave was Colleen Bertirotti, 12, who was state champion in the 50-100 yard free, 50-100 back and 100 IM. Her 50 free time of 24.53 broke the state record and qualified her for Juniors. Colleen also placed third in the 50 fly and fifth in the 100 fly, and was named high-point winner for her age group.
