SWIMMAC&#8217;s Micah Lawrence turned in a sizzling time in the women&#8217;s 200-meter breaststroke en route to a win at the Arena Grand Prix in Charlotte.<\/p>\n<p>Lawrence chased down a time of 2:24.68 in the finale, moving to 11th in the SwimVortex world rankings in the process. Lawrence went out strong, leading the field by more than a second at the 100 with a 1:10.32, before coming home with a 36.7 and 37.6.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/api.smugmug.com\/services\/embed\/3252242678_GNtf7BB?width=640&amp;height=360&amp;albumId=40517670&amp;albumKey=v5rKPC\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Melanie Margalis took second overall in 2:28.39, while Emily McClellan snared third in 2:29.12. Molly Hannis picked up fourth in 2:29.30 with NBAC&#8217;s Annie Zhu finishing fifth in 2:31.30.<\/p>\n<p>Lilly King (2:33.83), Katie Meili (2:34.57) and Gretchen Jaques (2:35.39) also put up championship finishes.<\/p>\n<p>NCAC&#8217;s Abigail Fisher closed out NBAC&#8217;s Lauren James, 2:34.91 to 2:35.02, in an exciting B final.
