PHOENIX, June 27. JULIO Santos, Sung Mo Cho and kara Morelli were the standouts on the second day of competition at the BEST Invitational in Phoenix, Arizona.<\/p>\n

Santos, 26, an Ecuadorian Olympian swimming for the host Brophy East Swim Team (BEST) took the 50 in a solid 23.38 seconds.<\/p>\n

Cho, 18, a Korean training in Mexico under veteran coach Jack Simon and who yesterday won the 1500 in 15:29, sprinted to victory in the 200 free in 1:54.27. Once again, his 16 year-old Jalisco teammate Andres Jiminez, was second, 1:58.41.<\/p>\n

BEST's Kara Morelli, 19, was the day's only double winner in senior competition, taking the 200 back in 2:25.23 and the 200 IM in 2:26.52.<\/p>\n
