CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, May 15. TODAY, SwimMAC head coach David Marsh took time out to talk with the media about Ryan Lochte’s injury and his subsequent scratch of the Arena Grand Prix in Charlotte.<\/p>\n

Marsh explained that he’s really being cautious with Lochte so as not to cost him his summer, since he needs to be ready for Nationals to make the Pan Pacific Championships as well as Worlds next summer.<\/p>\n

Marsh also explained that Lochte is getting some extra time pulling in practice as he’s laying off most of the leg work to protect his knee. Marsh also looks to North Baltimore as he calls Yannick Agnel potentially the best freestyler on the planet.<\/p>\n
