GAINESVILLE, Florida, May 8. DAN Wallace, Florida’s two-time runner-up at NCAAs this year, has been suspended indefinitely due to a violation of team rules.<\/p>\n
“We are disappointed in some of the choices Dan Wallace made,\u201d head coach Gregg Troy said in a statement released by Florida Athletics. \u201cBecause of his actions he will be suspended from team activities indefinitely. Any decisions regarding a change to his status will be addressed internally.”<\/p>\n
Wallace, who is slated to represent Scotland as part of the Commonwealth Games this year, put together an amazing year this year for the Gators. He finished as a runner-up in both the 500-yard free and 400-yard IMs at the NCAA Championships earlier this year.
