TUCSON, Ariz., June 6. SOUTH African distance ace-turned-sprinter, Ryk Neethling, took one sprint and one distance event to highlight competition on Day Two of the Tucson Ford Southwest Classic on the campus of the University of Arizona.<\/p>\n
Neethling, a graduate of the University of Arizona, swimming for Ford Aquatics, took the 100m free in 51.33 then came back to win the 400 free in 4:05.94.<\/p>\n
In other highlights, Lacey Nymeyer, Ford Aquatics, took the 100 free in 57.77, edging Amanda Beard (58.22). Emily Mason, AFOX, won the 200 fly in 2:17.25 while Jessica Hayes annexed the 200m back in 2:19.74.<\/p>\n
