MESA, Arizona, April 25. AFTER putting a focus on the 100 breaststroke for the past few years, Alia Atkinson is returning to the 200 breast, and the result is her fastest in-season times in the event.<\/p>\n

After winning the 200 breast at the Arena Grand Prix in Mesa, Ariz., Atkinson talked to Swimming World about training in Florida and why she decided to come back to the 200 breast. She also talks about the “happy surprise” of doing well in the 100 fly at the meet.<\/p>\n
