The two rounds of grants awarded this year by the USA Swimming Foundation combined for more than $800,000 to 125 providers across 33 states.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWith these additional funds being awarded, it is estimated nearly 18,000 individuals will have the opportunity to learn the lifesaving skill of swimming,\u201d USA Swimming Foundation Senior Director of Development <strong>Elaine Calip<\/strong> said. \u201cBy adding to the over $7 million already distributed throughout the program\u2019s tenure, we are proud to continue making a direct impact on communities across the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Programs awarded funding directly support free or reduced-cost swim lessons at the youth and adult levels.
