MESA, Arizona, April 24. IT’S only fitting that the first race for Michael Phelps after coming out of retirement would be the same one that marked what he called in 2012 his “last (race) on American soil.”<\/p>\n

For our Throwback Thursday video, let’s look back at that 100 butterfly final at the 2012 Olympic Trials, in which he beat all challengers to the wall to set up for defense of his 2008 Olympic title.<\/p>\n
