Florida State Hires Kyle Cormier as Assistant Coach<\/strong><\/p>\n

Florida State on Friday announced the hiring of Kyle Cormier<\/strong> as an assistant coach to the swimming and diving staff.<\/p>\n

The former pro swimmer will be responsible for directing operations of the swim team. Cormier was a volunteer assistant last season at Florida International. He helped FIU finish second at the American Athletic Conference Championships.<\/p>\n

“It is a dream come true to join an athletic department and team like the one we have here in Tallahassee,” Cormier said in a university statement<\/a>.\u00a0 “My family and I are beyond excited to be a part of the FSU community. There truly is everything we need to have a championship program that not only can develop maximum potential as athletes but also as people. Florida State is a special place and I feel tremendous privilege to be a Seminole.”<\/p>\n
