Upcoming Hall of Fame Inductee the Answer to Most Recent Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last week&#8217;s edition of Name That Swimmer! challenged our readership to sort through the information below and identify the athlete responsible for these impressive accomplishments.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NCAA champion at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/auburntigers.com\/sports\/swimming-and-diving\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Auburn University<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Five-time Olympian<\/li>\n<li>Seven-time Olympic medalist and two-time Olympic champion<\/li>\n<li>World-record setter in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke<\/li>\n<li>Eight-time medalist at the World Championships and three-time world champion<\/li>\n<li>International medalist in the 200 IM and 400 IM<\/li>\n<li>Heavily involved with the International Olympic Committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Well, you either boast tremendous swimming knowledge or your research skills were on point because 66% of those who cast votes knew that Zimbabwe&#8217;s <strong>Kirsty Coventry<\/strong> was the correct answer. Coventry enjoyed a sterling career in the pool and now gives back to the sport through her role with the International Olympic Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Next month, Coventry will be inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame during a ceremony in Fort Lauderdale.
