The 2025 USMS Spring National Championship will be April 24\u201327, 2025, at the Northside ISD Swim Center in San Antonio, and the 2025 USMS Summer National Championship will be Aug. 6\u201310, 2025, at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe\u2019re excited to host our national championships at these amazing facilities over the next two years,\u201d USMS CEO <strong>Dawson Hughes<\/strong> says. \u201cWe\u2019re looking for opportunities for our members across the country to compete at a national championship close to home, but also for locations that our members can easily travel to and enjoy on a swim vacation. We\u2019ve built strong relationships with our event hosts and believe they will provide our members a great experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">USMS has already announced its 2024 Spring National Championship will be June 20\u201324, 2024, at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. The meet will be held in conjunction with the U.S. Olympic Team Trials \u2013 Swimming, which are June 15\u201323, 2024, at Indianapolis\u2019s Lucas Oil Stadium.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mission Viejo has hosted five USMS pool national championships, including the 2013 and 2019 Summer Nationals. Those were the two highest-attended Summer Nationals in USMS history, drawing nearly 2,800 entries combined.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The facility has spent more than $200,000 on recent upgrades that include new bleachers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMission Viejo has a long association with national- and Olympic-level sports,\u201d says Mission Viejo mayor Brian Goodell, who is also an Olympian and Mission Viejo Nadadores member. \u201cWe are particularly proud to be the home of the Nadadores swim and diving teams. Through their accomplishments, the Nadadores have brought acclaim to the city. We are honored to continue the tradition by welcoming Masters swimmers to the 2024 Summer National Championship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Northside ISD Swim Center has hosted two USMS Spring Nationals over the past eight years, both of which surpassed 1,800 entries. It\u2019s hosted a TYR Pro Swim series event two of the past three years and features two 10-lane racing courses with 38 warm-up lanes and seating for 2,500.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe\u2019re excited to work with U.S. Masters Swimming and welcome swimmers to San Antonio for Spring Nationals,\u201d says <strong>Jenny Carnes<\/strong>, CEO of San Antonio Sports. \u201cWe have a state-of-the-art facility and many attractions for swimmers to enjoy out of the water.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Pacific Northwest LMSC will be hosting its first USMS national championship since 2007. Since then, the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center has undergone significant renovations that include remodeled locker rooms, new pool liners, enhanced HVAC systems, new skylights, and the installation of high-resolution scoreboards measuring 14 feet by 50 feet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The facility also provides access to the many attractions throughout the Seattle area that include a wealth of outdoor recreation and historical landmarks, such as the Space Needle and Pike Place Market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe Pacific Northwest Association of Masters Swimmers is excited to be hosting a USMS national championship event once again,\u201d says <strong>Sally Dillon<\/strong>, the Pacific Northwest LMSC chair. \u201cVisiting Washington in August is the perfect time to enjoy not only a top-notch competition in our fabulous pool but a family vacation in one of the nation\u2019s most beautiful and diverse states.
