Tennessee Adds Brazil’s Pedro Andrade To Class of 2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Tennessee has secured a new verbal commitment for Fall 2024 from freestyler Pedro Andrade<\/strong> of S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil.<\/p>\n

He will join diver\u00a0Bennett Greene<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Vols’ Class of 2028.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swimming career at the University of Tennessee. I want to thank Coach Matt and Coach Josh for the amazing opportunity. I also want to thank my parents, friends and coaches for all their support during the process. GO VOLS\u00a0\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Andrade trains year-round with Esporte Clube Pinheiros and finished 12th in the 50m free at the 2023 Brazilian National Championships; His time of 22.73 was fast enough for a Pan-American Games qualifying time.<\/p>\n
