The aquatic sports showcase begins Saturday in Fukuoka, Japan, which equates to Friday night in the U.S., and coverage of all events, including swimming, diving, open water, water polo and artistic swimming, will be covered.<\/p>\n<p>The first racing events of Worlds will be the women&#8217;s and men&#8217;s 10-kilometer open water events, both qualifying competitions for next year&#8217;s Paris Olympics, while diving will begin with the 10m platform mixed synchro event along with women&#8217;s 1m springboard and men&#8217;s 3m synchro. Pool swimming begins on Sunday, July 23, with the first prelims airing Saturday evening in the U.S. beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET. Finals coverage begins at 7 a.m. daily Sunday, July 23 through Sunday, July 30.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2023-world-aquatics-championships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Page<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omegatiming.com\/2023\/world-aquatics-championships-sw-live-results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most sports will likely be shown using the global feed provided by World Aquatics, but pool swimming will feature NBC announcers, with\u00a0<strong>Rowdy Gaines<\/strong> providing analysis as he has for the past six Olympic Games and reporter\u00a0<strong>Kira Dixon<\/strong> interviewing athletes poolside. On play-by-play,\u00a0<strong>Dan Hicks<\/strong> returns for his first swimming competition since the 2021 Olympics. Hicks is NBC&#8217;s lead golf announcer, and he will travel to Fukuoka from England after the conclusion of the Open Championship (golf).\u00a0<strong>Jason Knapp<\/strong>, who joins Gaines for most NBC meet coverage throughout the year, will call races for the first few days of the meet.<\/p>\n<p>Two weekend highlights packages will also air on NBC after the conclusion of the event. They are scheduled for Sunday, July 30 from 5-6 p.m. and Saturday, August 5 from 1-3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The full schedule of Peacock&#8217;s streaming coverage is available below:<\/p>\n<table
