NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Versatile swimmer\u00a0Hudson Schuricht\u00a0<\/strong>of Scottsdale, Arizona, has pledged his verbal commitment to NC State and will arrive in Raleigh ahead of the 2024-25 season.<\/p>\n

200 breast – 1:56.70<\/li>\n
200 IM – 1:48.58<\/li>\n
400 IM – 3:53.48<\/li>\n
100 back – 51.86<\/li>\n
1000 free – 9:30.22<\/li>\n
1650 free – 15:33.99<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Schuricht trains year-round with Scottsdale Aquatic Club and placed fifth in the 1000 free, eighth in the 100 back and ninth in the 200 fly at the Arizona Short Course Championships back in March before going on to win the 200 breast at Austin Sectionals, where he also took second in the 400 IM and 100 breast as well as fourth in the 200 IM and seventh in the mile.<\/p>\n
A rising senior at Chaparral High School, Schuricht took third in the 100 breast and fourth in the 200 IM at the 2022 Arizona DI State Championships. He placed fourth and ninth, respectively, in those events during his sophomore season.<\/p>\n
