0.06 behind the Romanian &#8211; as the first three men home were separated by 1.68secs.<\/p>\n<p>It meant a Turkish 1500 free double after <strong>Merve Tuncel<\/strong> had topped the podium in the girls&#8217; race on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<h3>Curtis And Padar Continue Golden Form<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Sara Curtis<\/strong> claimed her second gold and third medal overall after a 25.14 victory in the 50 free.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 bronze medallist &#8211; 4&#215;200 free.<\/p>\n<p>The individual 200 champion went out in 1:58.95 &#8211; the fastest split of the entire field &#8211; with <strong>Lili Gyurinovics<\/strong> (2:00.91), <strong>Dora Molnar<\/strong> (2:00.90) and <strong>Lilla Minna Abraham<\/strong> (1:59.49) combining to come home in 8:00.25, 1.26 outside the championship record of 7:58.99 set by Hungary in 2017.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Italy<\/strong> were second in 8:03.22 with <strong>France<\/strong> in bronze in 8:05.62.<\/p>\n<h3>European Juniors: Day 3 Semi-Finals<\/h3>\n<p>Zheltyakov &#8211; who set an Irish senior record of 1:58.65 in prelims &#8211; was next through in 1:59.08.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lorenzo Ballarati\u00a0<\/strong>led the boys&#8217; 50 free in 22.65 ahead of <strong>Leo Verschooten<\/strong> of Belgium (22.79) and <strong>Davide Passafaro<\/strong> (22.84).<\/p>\n<p>Ballarati and Passafaro were members of the Italian boys\u2019 4\u00d7100 free quartet that won gold on the opening evening with the latter also taking silver with the mixed freestyle squad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Casper Puggaard<\/strong> of Denmark dominated the 100 fly in 52.70 with Austria&#8217;s <strong>Lukas Edl<\/strong> booking lane five in 53.36 and <strong>Ethan Dumesnil<\/strong> next through in 53.54.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dora Molnar<\/strong> &#8211; winner of the 100\/200 double at last year&#8217;s edition in Otopeni &#8211; headed the four-length semis in 2:11.40, the Hungarian 1.39secs ahead of Britain&#8217;s<strong> Holly McGill<\/strong> (2:12.79) with <strong>Estella Tonrath Nollgen\u00a0<\/strong>next in 2:12.88.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grace Palmer<\/strong> of Belgium led the girls&#8217; 200m breaststroke in 2:25.53 ahead of France&#8217;s <strong>Justine Delmas<\/strong> (2:26.95) and defending champion <strong>Eneli Jefimova<\/strong> (2:27.39).<\/p>\n<p>Netherlands swimmers will be in the centre lanes in the boys&#8217;
