Thank you to my coaches, teammates, and most importantly my family for supporting me along the way. Thank you to the Alabama coaching staff for this opportunity! Can\u2019t wait to get to work. ROLL TIDE!!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A versatile swimmer who especially excels in backstroke, Witmer does his club swimming with NSEA Swim and earned 100% best times at Cary Sectionals in March where he won the 200 back. Last summer, he took fourth in the 100m back at North Carolina LCM Seniors.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 back \u2013 1:45.24<\/li>\n<li>100 back \u2013 48.65<\/li>\n<li>200 IM \u2013 1:52.65<\/li>\n<li>100 fly \u2013 51.29<\/li>\n<li>200 free \u2013 1:41.74<\/li>\n<li>100 free \u2013 47.91<\/li>\n<li>50 free \u2013 21.23<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A rising senior at John T. Hoggard High School, Witmer raced to second in the 100 back at the 2023 North Carolina 4A State Championships.
