TEXAS&#8217; Michael Hixon, who isn&#8217;t a platform diver with any regularity, said he \u201cwas a platform diver today\u201d at the NCAA Division I Men&#8217;s Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Hixon, a freshman who earned Diver of the Meet after sweeping the springboard events, is more focused on springboard since that&#8217;s his best chance to make an international team, knew he needed to pull in team points on tower for the Longhorns.
